Phoenix House is an 11 bedded supported accommodation which is situated within the Sandwell area. It is tranquil and spacious and has a large garden situated to the rear of the property.
We provide accommodation and support to service users who are experiencing mental health problems and are now able to live in a supported accommodation.
We have a small team of friendly and highly trained staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week, who are employed to offer sympathetic support and to provide complete attention to each individual need.
One of our aims is to create a friendly, warm and safe environment where our service users can participate and contribute in decisions affecting their daily lives. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit between 9am and 11pm daily.
ELIGIBILITY:
Service users are eligible for the service if they have a mental health issue and are eligible for Housing Benefit.
Phoenix House is committed to ensuring fair access to all potential service users. Referrals are accepted from any individual who have experienced any kind of mental health problem, regardless of race, colour, gender, sexuality, or ethnicity. We also accept referrals from all our stakeholders.
An offer of accommodation and support is dependent on the results of a Risk Assessment conducted by our support staff and accompanied by up to date CPA and TAG from social services. We aim to deliver the necessary support package for the service user to meet their individual goals and aspirations.
Phoenix House is committed to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all our service users, while valuing diversity and differences in culture. We also operate a waiting list.
All our policies and procedure and other documents are also available on request in different languages where appropriate.
